Saja is a four year old girl who suffered from developmental dysplasia of both right and left hips. She underwent a major successful operation that will help her walk without pain and improve her balance.
Saja had unfortunately undergone many unsuccessful surgeries prior to her treatment with Atfaluna.
Saja is one of the 11 children who benefited from a grant from PACES organization that covered the entire medical treatment of these children.
Atfaluna is grateful to PACES organization for their generous donation; and would also like to recognize the efforts of the physician who performed Saja's operation free of charge.
We are also thankful to the Abdulhadi Hospital for their greatly discounted rates.
It is worth noting that because the operation was performed pro-bono and the greatly reduced hospital fees, the cost of the operation (which usually exceeds
JD 3500), was reduced to JD1700.
