Wafa’ is a one and a half year old girl who had her left hip aligned and will spend the next two months in a cast to ensure her recovery is complete.
Wafa’ was one of the 11 children who benefited from a grant from PACES that covered the entire treatment of these children.
Atfaluna is grateful to PACES for their generous donation; and would also like to recognise the efforts of the physician who performed Wafa’s operation free of charge.
We were also thankful to the Abdulhadi Hospital for their greatly discounted rates.
It is worth noting that because of the physician’s free-of-charge operation and greatly reduced hospital fees, an operation which usually costs JD 3000
now costs JD 750.
