Thanks to God and with your support, we were able to successfully treat Joury’s condition, known as Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), a condition in which urine flows backward from the bladder to one or both ureters and sometimes to the kidneys.
Joury’s condition was considered serious, (fourth grade in severity), and she was in need of a quick surgical procedure to alleviate her discomfort.
Thanks to all your generous donations, big and small, today Joury is in good physical health.
Thanks to all the volunteers who accompanied Joury and her family on her treatment journey.
Thanks to Dr. Samah Jbour for correctly diagnosing Joury’s condition on a volunteer basis.
Thanks to Dr. Ma’moun al Zibdeh who performed the operation pro bono.
Finally, thanks to Jordan Hospital for its generous discounts
