Our Team
Atfaluna’s paid employees consist of our Senior Operations Manager, Ms. Manal Shreiteh, along with our Social Workers, Ms. Batool Mohsen, and Ms. Lama Al-Shalalfa, and our Accounting & Administrative Officer, Ms. Saja Battat, who replaced Mrs. Muna Freij following her resignation at the end of 2024.
Besides the critical roles played by our above salaried team, all the other tasks performed in the day-to-day planning and execution of our work are done by volunteers. Our "core team" of volunteers consists of a group of professionals with their own full-time jobs who work tirelessly, pro bono in the below-mentioned committees, together with a larger pool of “field volunteers” who eagerly step up to help out whenever help is required.
Atfaluna’s strategy is developed, and its implementation is followed up, by the Management Board, which is led by our Planning Officer, Eng. Muna Budairi. As for the preservation of Atfaluna’s core values and mission, that is the responsibility of our Board of Trustees − Dr. Ghassan Alami, Mrs. Bana Fahmawi, Ms. Suhair Fahmawi, Eng. Safa Jarrar, Mr. Fadi Sunna’, and Eng. Maisa Thweib.
